Robert B. (Bain) Ayres, Jr. is founder and president of Cedar Mill Mortgage, a leader in the mortgage industry providing Conventional, FHA and VA residential mortgages in Georgia since 1996.

Bain graduated from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL in 1986 where he received his degree in business and is a graduate of The University of North Carolina At Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School, AFSA Management Development Program.  He pursued his interest in finance soon after graduating working in supervisory roles with leading consumer finance and mortgage companies until he tired of traveling away from his family.  He made North GA his home and grew his family and business here over 17 years ago.

Bain focuses on his customers’ needs first and foremost.  He prides himself on giving his undivided attention to every detail so his clients can make an informed decision and feel completely at ease with the purchase or refinance of their home.  It is this philosophy of making sure every client is kept informed and educated each step of the way that keeps his clients for life.

Bain resides in Canton, GA with his wife of over 20yrs. They met while both were office managers for the same consumer finance company.  He is the proud father of one son and one daughter.  He enjoys playing tennis, golf, watching football and spending quality time with his family and friends.
